Access Utah Promise: New need-based state scholarship which may cover up to two years tuition & fees at USHE institutions and Utah Technical Colleges. This is a last dollar scholarship, applied after all other grants, tuition waivers, fee waivers, and scholarships have been applied for students with financial need. Utah Energy Workforce Scholarship: Seniors who intend to pursue a STEM course of study at a Utah college, university or tech college may apply. Students will be required to submit a 5 minute documentary film exploring some aspect of Utah’s energy industry. Five (5) $4000 scholarships and five (5) $2000 scholarships will be awarded. Utah Elks Association: The Park City Elks Lodge and the Utah Elks Association are sponsoring a scholarship for high school seniors planning on a technical or vocational education or students with special needs. Applications due 1/31/21. See Ms. Regan for application.
Hunt Electric Merit Scholarship: For individuals interested in becoming a Journeyman Electrician. Scholarship will cover all tuition, books & fees for 8 semesters. Application due TBA, see Ms. Regan.
Geneva Rock Scholarship: $2000 scholarship for students going into construction and engineering related industries, awarded twice a year. Due 7/1 or 11/15, see https://genevarock.com/company/scholarship/.
FFA Scholarships: Through the National FFA Foundation, businesses and individuals support scholarships that are awarded to students with a wide variety of higher education plans and career goals. American Welding Society Scholarships: Scholarships are available for students attending trade schools, community colleges, and four-year universities. AWS Foundation Scholarships are for tuition, fees, books, supplies, or equipment required for the course of instruction. Applications due 3/1/21 at www.scholarships.aws.org.
Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships: Scholarships are available for students training to become automotive, heavy duty or collision repair technicians, and to students in business, marketing, engineering, or other major courses of study. UVU Automotive Scholarships: Students who take the automotive class at UVU/Wasatch and plan to continue at UVU should fill out the General Scholarship application at UVU. You must be admitted to UVU, with a valid UVID in order to apply. You must also upload your FAFSA, and make sure you have changed your major from “concurrent enrollment” to “automotive technology”. The automotive scholarships include: Carrol Reid Memorial*, Pearson Trust Auto, Victor L. Davies* Jack & Mary Lois Wheatley and Miles & Mary Morris.
